Years of history, legacy, and dedication

The history of Miraflores School is the story of a vocation dedicated to love and teaching. It all began on Holy Saturday in Granada, Spain, when, on April 11, 1925, Mother Trinidad of the Most Pure Heart of Mary founded the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Most Holy Eucharist and of the Mother of God.

Our Charism

Mother Trinidad sought to create learning communities where hearts could be formed to transform the world. Driven by this vision, the congregation began to grow, guided by a spirit of service and a deep faith.

The order's charism and way of life were defined based on the following principles:

01

Spirit of poverty and simplicity

02

Spirit of Worship

03

Commitment to the education of children and young people

Miraflores School, Mexico

In 1951, the congregation’s first project in Mexico opened its doors: Kinder Conchita, where the seed of who we are today was planted.

With the congregation's support, that seed grew through patience and hard work:

  • We stopped by our beloved offices on Ebro and Rafael Alducín Streets.
  • Finally, we flourished in our current home in Naucalpan, where nature and architecture come together to embrace our students.

Today, after celebrating the centennial of our congregation, we identify ourselves as the “Miraflores Extended Family.” That small spark that Mother Trinidad ignited in Spain a century ago remains alive in every classroom, in every smile of our students, and in our commitment to shaping individuals of integrity, freedom, and happiness.

The history of Miraflores School is a story of love expressed through constant, creative, and inspiring work.
