Educational Model

We shape individuals of integrity through a model that combines academic excellence, spiritual life, and human development at every stage.

At Colegio Miraflores, our educational model supports each student from preschool through high school, integrating knowledge, faith, and human values into a single educational journey that respects each child’s individual pace.

We know that each stage presents different challenges and opportunities. That is why our teaching staff provides close, personalized support, helping each student discover their calling and develop their full intellectual, spiritual, and personal potential.

Our Model

The academic goal of our pedagogical model is to help students develop the skills they need to successfully adapt to and respond to the global environment and to continue their professional education.

Trilingual system

Our students grow up in a trilingual environment—Spanish, English, and French—that broadens their worldview from an early age.

Beyond learning languages, they develop the skills to communicate with confidence, adapt to new contexts, and function effectively in an international setting.

Educational Immersion Programs Abroad

With the goal of preparing our students for the world, we have created a multilingual and multicultural environment that allows them to learn about different contexts and cultures firsthand. These skills keep them competitive and open up social and career opportunities in other countries.

As part of this training, we offer opportunities to study a language abroad:

7th Grade: Science, technology, and discovery are the focus of this field trip. Students visit sites related to scientific exploration and supplement the program with cultural tours of Boston.

8th Grade: Canada becomes the setting for practicing the language, experiencing a different culture, and exploring two cities rich in history and culture.

9th grade: Direct exposure to the language is combined with academic activities, city tours, and visits to iconic sites in one of the most important college towns in the United States.

12th Grade: History, culture, and language practice are integrated into a program that fosters student independence and broadens their international perspective.

11th grade: French moves beyond the classroom and becomes a tool for everyday life. The program allows students to communicate in real-life situations, engage with the local culture, and explore various sites of academic and cultural interest.
