About Us

We form an educational community where faith, knowledge, and service to others are put into practice every day.

We are an educational community founded more than 75 years ago by the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Most Holy Eucharist and of the Mother of God. We have become synonymous with a prestigious educational tradition thanks to our commitment to academic excellence and our Christian vision.

Our History

The history of Miraflores School is the story of a vocation dedicated to love and teaching. It all began on Holy Saturday in Granada, Spain, when, on April 11, 1925, Mother Trinidad of the Most Pure Heart of Mary founded the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Most Holy Eucharist and of the Mother of God.

Mission and
Values

Our approach—based on love, hard work, and dedication—toward each of our graduating classes has led our students and alumni to see us as their family, their Miraflores Extended Family.

To educate children and young people to be free and happy, capable of reaching their full intellectual and personal potential, with strong Christian values, a sense of self, and an openness to dialogue and the world; people of integrity and compassion, capable of collaborating and contributing responsibly—both locally and globally—to the building of a more “productive, just, humane, and peaceful” society.

To maintain the trust of our families and continue to be a model of quality education through the example set by our alumni—people of integrity, leaders, and successful individuals.

Community Service Projects

One of our Congregation's missions is to bring the values we uphold to the places where they are most needed. For this reason, we have various social service programs through which we support our communities.

Miraflores was one of the most important formative experiences of my life. There, I learned that values shape who we are and that being part of a community with values leaves a positive mark on us.
