The Miraflores School Book Fair came to a close after taking place at the Emilio G. Baz campus and the preschool. During the event, we introduced books to our students to foster a love of reading and encourage them to discover stories that match their interests.
The fair offered an opportunity to look beyond the usual reading material. Finding a topic that sparks curiosity or a story that invites you to keep reading can be the start of a lasting relationship with books. That is why we promote spaces where our students can approach reading through enjoyment and personal choice as well.
In preschool, the activities took place from Monday through Wednesday and marked the end of this session. Exposure to books from an early age helps foster imagination and spark an interest in words and stories, even before children learn to read on their own.
We reaffirm our commitment to fostering a love of reading. We want reading to be a daily part of our students’ lives and to continue at home, together with their families. The book fair may be over, but every book offers an opportunity to keep discovering.
