On September 17, Colegio Miraflores México hosted a celebration full of color, music, and tradition with a performance of the Guelaguetza, organized in collaboration with the Confederation of Mexican Workers.
Throughout the day, our community had the opportunity to experience one of Oaxaca’s most iconic cultural expressions, in which dance, music, and traditional costumes become a way to share our identity, history, and pride in our roots.
The performance brought together various regional expressions and allowed the audience to appreciate the cultural richness that sets this celebration apart. Beyond the show itself, it was also an opportunity to recognize the value of the traditions that are part of our country’s diversity.
For Colegio Miraflores, creating spaces like this means providing our students and families with experiences that broaden their horizons, strengthen their appreciation for Mexican culture, and enrich school life through interaction and participation.
We would like to thank the Confederation of Mexican Workers and everyone who made this celebration possible, as well as our community for joining us for an afternoon dedicated to sharing and enjoying one of Mexico’s most iconic traditions.
A day to celebrate our roots and keep our country's rich culture alive.
